Precise Metal preps sale via Houlihan Lokey

  • Generated around USD 5m to USD 10m in 2025 EBITDA
  • Owned by Staple Street and Thompson Capital

Precise Metal Products, a private equity-backed manufacturer of complex metal assemblies for the aerospace and defense industry, is preparing to come to market, two sources familiar with the matter said.

Houlihan Lokey is advising on the sale of the Staple Street Capital- and Thompson Capital Partners-backed company, the sources said. Marketing materials have not yet been distributed to prospective buyers, they added.

Phoenix-based Precise Metal generated around USD 5m-USD 10m in 2025 EBITDA, the sources said, with one of them noting the company could fetch a double-digit EBITDA multiple in a sale.

Private equity firms and strategics are expected to show interest in Precise Metal, the two sources said.

Precise Metal, founded in 1957, is a provider of precision metal fabrication, serving the aerospace, defense, and high-technology industries. The company was acquired by Staple Street and Thompson Capital in 2019 for an undisclosed amount.

Staple Street Capital, Thompson Capital and Precise Metal did not return requests for comment. Houlihan Lokey declined to comment.
