Linfox advised by Sadella Advisory on Masindo Logistic buyout – advisor

Linfox International Group, the Thailand subsidiary of Australia-headquartered logistics company Linfox Pty, was advised by Sadella Advisory on its buyout of Singapore-based peer Masindo Logistic, Sadella Advisory’s Director and Head of M&A Luke Seneviratne told Mergermarket.
Linfox International Group announced early this week that it was expanding its footprint in Asia with the acquisition of Masindo Logistic.
The acquisition marked a key milestone in its Asia-Pacific expansion strategy, leveraging on Singapore’s global trade hub status to connect markets, enhance operational excellence and drive innovative services, according to the announcement.
The transaction, completed 10 January, involved a cash acquisition of Masindo Logistic, Seneviratne said.
Sadella Advisory, led by Seneviratne, acted as the sole financial advisor to Linfox in the strategic acquisition. The Hong Kong-based firm specializes in cross-border M&A transactions in Europe, the Middle East, and particularly in the Asia-Pacific region.
The buyside was also advised by law firm Clyde & Co and financial due diligence provider RSM, Seneviratne said.
Since its establishment in 1956, Linfox Pty is Asia-Pacific’s largest privately owned logistics company, involving more than 24,000 people across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, according to its website.
Masindo Logistic, founded in 2003, provides inclusive transport and technical services. With a fleet of over 210 trailers and 26 prime movers, the company specialises in container haulage, cross border trucking, contract logistics and special deliveries, as per its website.
