Unifeye Vision Partners puts process on hold
Unifeye Vision Partners (UVP), a Dallas-based vision care management platform, has paused its sale process, according to three sources familiar with the matter.
Unifeye, which is backed by Waud Capital, was exploring a sale last year alongside Harris Williams, this news service previously reported. While the company received multiple offers when it was on the market, Unifeye decided to put the process on hold due to add-on acquisition opportunities that presented itself during the process, which it is now pursuing, said the sources.
Unifeye, which generates around USD 30m in EBITDA, may revisit a sale in 12 months, said one of the sources.
Last year, Unifeye made two eye care acquisitions to bolster its California footprint. In September 2023, it acquired Southern California-based Insight Vision Group and in April 2023, Unifeye acquired Kings Eye Center, based in Hanford, California.
Unifeye provides management and support services to a network of ophthalmology and optometry practices, as well as single-specialty eye surgery centers, according to the company’s website. It operates a network of 123 providers, 44 clinic locations, and 13 ambulatory surgery centers.
Unifeye and Waud did not respond to requests for comment. Harris Williams declined to comment.
