Powerhouse Engine Services exploring sale, sources say
Powerhouse Engine Services, an aerospace services company, is exploring a sale through financial advisor William Blair, said two sources familiar with the matter.
The privately held Boston-based company had around USD 10m to USD 15m in EBITDA in 2023 and is expected to generate more than USD 20m in EBITDA for 2024, the two sources said. Books have been distributed to prospective buyers, and first round bids are being collected this week, these sources added.
Powerhouse Engine Services is expected to generate interest from strategics and private equity firms, the two sources said.
The company is a provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services, as well as plane engine leasing, according to the company’s website.
Powerhouse Engine Services and William Blair did not return requests for comment.
