kSARIA exploring sale
kSARIA Corporation, the Behrman Capital-backed interconnect products maker, is exploring a sale through financial advisor Guggenheim Securities, said two sources familiar with the matter.
The Methuen, Massachusetts-based company generates around USD 20m in EBITDA, the two sources said. The sources were not aware of whether books have been distributed to prospective buyers yet.
Strategics and private equity firms are expected to show interest in kSARIA, the two sources said.
kSARIA’s product offering includes high-reliability optical fiber, expanded beam fiber optic, copper, and radio frequency cable assemblies and harnesses. The company serves the military and aerospace markets.
Behrman Capital acquired kSARIA in 2018 for an undisclosed amount. In 2019, kSARIA acquired Co-Operative Industries Aerospace & Defense, a manufacturer of electrical wiring. A year later, kSARIA bought Compulink Cable Assemblies, which makes high-reliability cables and harnesses for commercial and military applications.
Guggenheim Securities declined to comment. kSARIA and Behrman Capital did not return requests for comment.
