GetixHealth renews sale effort via Guggenheim Partners
GetixHealth, a Sugar Land, Texas-based healthcare information technology (HCIT) company, is once again exploring a sale via Guggenheim Partners, according to four sources familiar with the situation.
GetixHealth, which is backed by Trivest Partners, had explored a sale in 2022 alongside Guggenheim Partners, as well as in 2019, alongside Baird, this news service previously reported.
The company generates USD 20m in EBITDA, according to the four sources and one additional source familiar with the situation.
In 2015, Trivest invested an undisclosed amount into GetixHealth as part of a management buyout.
GetixHealth is a provider of revenue cycle management and business process outsourcing services to doctor groups, hospitals and medical centers, according to the company’s website. Its customers include 400 providers and 15,000 physicians. Kevin Lonergan serves as the company’s CEO.
GetixHealth is among a spate of other HCIT processes to hit the market in recent months as reported by Mergermarket. These include the potential sales of Carenet Health, the TeleVox Software division of Apollo-owned West Technology Group, Medsphere Systems and Greenway Health.
GetixHealth, Guggenheim Partners and Trivest Partners did not respond to requests for comment.
