Omers Infra’s Asia head returns to Europe

OMERS Infrastructure is reorganising roles for two of its Asia executives, a spokesperson told Infralogic.

Managing Director Delphine Voeltzel will lead origination activity in energy across Europe, having completed a two-year secondment in Singapore leading origination, execution and management of infrastructure investments across Asia.

She will return to London in the coming few months, the spokesperson said.

Harmish Rokadia, the current deputy in Asia, has stepped up and is now overseeing the team of six in Singapore.

OMERS Infrastructure’s strategy in Asia remains prioritising India, said the spokesperson.

OMERS has seven infrastructure investments in the Asia Pacific region and offices in Singapore and Sydney, led by Senior Managing Director Christopher Curtain in Sydney.

Its London office has a team of 40 led by Senior Managing Director Alastair Hall. OMERS Infrastructure has 12 portfolio companies in Europe.

Voeltzel was a board member at Interise – a roads infrastructure trust that manages 17 Indian highway assets – as well as at renewables developer Azure Power.

Interise is majority-owned by the Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board and is currently vying to buy a portfolio of five assets from the Indian government-owned National Investment and Infrastructure Fund.
