Cannabis group Medicine Man Technologies, d/b/a Schwazze, is nearing a deal with creditors to pursue a restructuring in state court, two sources familiar with the matter said.

With cannabis illegal under federal law and bankruptcy courts closed to businesses linked to the drug, the Colorado-based cannabis producer and retailer plans to execute a foreclosure sale under Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code, one of the sources said.
