In Brazil, high-profile in-court debt restructuring processes commenced in the first half of the year including the judicial recovery filings of construction conglomerate Odebrecht Engenharia e Constucao, supermarket chain Dia Supermarkets and Companhia de Tecidos Norte de Minas (Coteminas), which operates in the textile sector, in addition to the reorganizacion concursal Enjoy SA filed with a Chilean court.
