EquipmentShare faces lawsuit from former board member alleging fraud, undisclosed related-party deals

An early investor in EquipmentShare.com has filed a lawsuit in Texas against the rapidly growing company’s founders alleging they engaged in self-dealing and retaliated against him for exposing ongoing fraud.

Neil Chheda and several affiliated funds of investor Romulus Capital, which own a 23% stake in the business, filed the petition on 16 October in the Texas Business Court seeking to be reinstated to the company’s board of directors.
