Ecuador aims for single-digit yield as investors welcome capital markets return

Ecuador is expected to price a new bond at a single-digit yield as investors welcome the country’s return to the international capital markets, two portfolio managers said.

The sovereign is meeting with fixed-income investor meetings through Friday, 23 January with pricing of a new bond as soon as Monday, 26 January. A concurrent tender offer targeting outstanding 2030 and 2035 notes launched on 16 January, and expires 23 January. BofA Securities and Citigroup are managing.
