BMW Group has hired Deloitte to assist some of its key auto suppliers with financial and operational advice, according to two sources familiar.

The automaker is also exploring moving sourcing closer to its homeland. Some small-to-mid-sized auto suppliers are seeking financial help, following the recent tariffs on imports, the US shift away from electric vehicle production and the overall softness in auto demand this year, the first source and the second source said.
